Derk had the morning and early afternoon off today, so he came with Asher, Bri and I to run our errands. As we were doing our shopping, we walked down an isle to get to another part of the store and walked past a section that had clearance items. I happened to look down and noticed the cutest quilt in this clearance section. Normally over $45 marked down to $15. Kyrie's quilt she has now was purchased when she was 2.5, so it's definitely showing signs of wear. I actually wasn't the one who decided to buy it, Derk was, which surprised me. It's usually me suggesting it and him grudgingly agreeing to my splurges. ;) I do have to admit that he did give me one serious eye roll and an "Absolutely NOT!" when I suggested I go back and buy another one in case the girls end up sharing a room when we (hopefully) buy a home this summer. :)
It was really fun sneaking her new bedding home and getting it all set up before she came home from school. She loved it, of course, but then she asked why we didn't buy her a new mattress to go along with her new bedding. I guess I didn't know that was protocol, silly me! :)
So here are the pictures, with the cutest little model you ever did see. The picture of Kyrie is a bit blurry, but that's because I couldn't get her to stop jumping up and down long enough to snap an in-focus picture. :)

Ahh, how sweet! That is such a cute reaction from Kyrie. Don't you love it?! And I've been trying to comment on your Easter post forever, and it never let's me...so I'll do it here! LOVE the girls dresses, and Asher looks so sharp! I'm glad you had a great day, and also YAY for potty-training Asher. LUCK-Y! lol
Hi Pink! Hope you don't mind me popping on over to your blog from Janice's blog but I wanted to say hi. Love the bedding. I would totally go back and get a second just in case. You could always sell it on ebay if you change your mind. :)
Hows your little ephraims child doing?
