Time is a funny thing. On one hand, it feels like Derk and I have been together fOrEvEr. Thinking back to how much things have changed in the past 8 years makes it seem like an eternity. But then again, it also seems crazy to say that this is our 8th anniversary.
The past 8 years have been full of ups and downs. We went from newly-married college students, struggling to even make rent, to parents of 3 great kids and owning our first home. It's so fun to look back on how things were and see how much we've changed. We've both changed a lot over the past few years, and I love that we've shared that together.
I really feel so blessed to have married the man that I did. He's an amazing father and provider, and he's truly my best friend. I am so lucky to be able to not only be with him " 'til death do us part", but for all of eternity.

Happy Anniversary guys!!! I still remember the first time I met Derk, you were picking me up from Charter school ( How old is that) and he was there... We dropped him off somewhere and you turned to me and went.. Well? Isn't he hot! I was just uh sure Hill lol that is funny...Wow 8 years.. Congrats!
That picture turned out great! (who was the awesome photographer?) : ) Congrats on 8 years!! Only eternity to go : ).
