Halloween 2011

I cannot believe Halloween is here already!  The kids had lots of fun and looked super cute.  Kyrie is Frankie Stein (from Monster High), Asher is a Clone Trooper, and Cambria is a ballerina.

Derk decided at the last minute to dress up, too!   Asher found this shirt in Derk’s closet (our wedding was a renaissance theme, and this is the shirt Derk wore), so Derk decided to wear it and be a pirate.  I was going to dress up, too, and was going to wear my wedding dress, but the zipper ended up getting stuck on some of the silk and would NOT budge.    I was amazed that it still fit me, though!

Trick-or-treating was slightly rushed since it was a school night, but we got a good 1.5 hours in and made it around a good chunk of the neighborhood.  Bri got a blister and ended up needing to be carried much of the way, hence the lack of pictures.
