Storybook Lane 2011

We went to Storybook Lane again this year, and this time Grandma and Grandpa were here and came along!  As we were waiting for it to get dark enough the kids spent some quality time with Grandpa on the trampoline! 

 

It was fun to walk along and hear Asher read each part of the story and see how much his reading has improved over the last year. 

Here’s a little video of us checking out all the lights (and Grandma singing! ).  Sorry about the bad squealing type sound – it’s the brakes on one of the cars driving beside us.

The kids got a big kick out of the decorations this year, and of course they had even more fun since they got to share it with their grandparents! 

 

Grandpa went back to the van to sit with a pretty sore Derk (he had a procedure a couple days ago), but I got a cute shot of Grandma with the kiddos before we headed back as well.
