Fun in Seattle

We left around 5am on Monday morning to drive over to Seattle. We wanted to go over and spend time with Derk's brother and his family before moving, and my sister-in-law, Rebecca, offered to watch our kids for us for a week while we flew to Yuma to meet with Derk's new employer and secure a house.

Monday was a laid back day. Derk took a nap in the afternoon, and Rebecca and I took the kids outside to play. The weather did everything but snow, but we had fun. :) It even got hot enough for 10 minutes or so for the kids to run in the sprinklers. After Drew got home from work, we went on a walk.

We decided to hit Point Defiance Zoo on Tuesday. Derk and I were flying out early Wednesday morning, so we thought it would be a lot of fun to spend the day at the zoo. Drew wasn't able to make it, but we sure had fun with Rebecca, Abbie and Lauren.
