Halloween, 2010

We sure had a fun Halloween this year! The kids got a ton of candy at our Trunk-or-Treat at church, and then they added even more to their stash going around our neighborhood! We were kind of skeptical about trick-or-treating in our neighborhood this year because it was beyond dead last year. We literally only had one group come to our door, and nobody was out in the neighborhood at all. But this year was the exact opposite. We had hundreds of people out, tons of people decked their house out in all kinds of decorations, and a few people even had "haunted houses" set up in their garages for neighbors to walk through. It was a fun weekend!

Derk's mom made both the girls costumes this year. She made Kyrie's while she was here visiting a couple of weeks ago, and Bri's she made back in June when we met up with her in St. George. We tried to convince Asher that Grandma could make him a super cool costume, too, but he insisted he wanted his to come from the store. Silly boy.
