Adding a little spice to my life!

My kids gave me a good few weeks of reprieve between letting their curiosity get the better of them once again. I really enjoyed those few weeks and thought perhaps my little Curious Georges were finally becoming curious about the right things instead of the things that drive Mommy crazy. No such luck. : )

This happened while I ran upstairs to grab a diaper, so I was gone maybe 30 seconds? That's permanent marker, folks. He'd gotten really creative and drew me a picture on our entertainment center and our television. Thank goodness for Mr. Clean Magic Erasers! They saved this boy's behind. : ) Luckily Derk was home, so I was able to rush Asher upstairs and let Derk scrub him in the tub while I got to the freshly decorated furniture before the stain set too long and became permanent. Everything came off all surfaces with fairly little elbow grease.

I can't even take my eyes off her for 5 minutes to check my email, or this is what happens. That's an entire bag of Fruit Loops. And I'll admit it, I'm a money-waster. Instead of spending the next 15-20 minutes picking all those wonderfully colorful rounds off my carpet and then having to vacuum up the crumbs, I just saved the hassle and brought out my trusty ol' friend from the get-go. R.I.P, my friends. Your time was short but sweet, and you shall be missed.
