For Nana

My mom loves to buy the kids presents. She doesn't even wait for a special occasion to send gifts - we'll just get random packages in the mail for the kids every now and then. Kyrie normally asks me, "Did I get anything from my Nana today?" after I've checked the mail (and it's always "my Nana", not just "Nana" - so cute). Some of their best presents have been from their Nana. The main one that comes to mind is the megaphone she bought Asher for his 3rd birthday party this year. The kids play with it constantly.

Anyway, this particular gift was one she gave to Cambria, I think for Christmas last year, but it could have been just a random "I love you"present like my mom likes to do. It was a while ago, whenever it was, and Cambria wasn't really into the gift at that point in time. It's this beautiful cape type thing (think Little Red Riding Hood, only in cream) and then a really cute slip. Since then, she's matured quite a bit and has started to love dressing up. The cape has become her new favorite "outfit" to wear. She seemed to rediscover it after we moved, and she's worn it for the past 2 days - even putting it on before church this morning and getting quite upset when I took it off (it's way too hot to wear it to church this time of year, otherwise I would have let her). She thinks she's hot stuff when she's wearing it, too, and dances around like crazy saying, "Pretty! Pretty!" :)
