Hello, big girl! Since my last post, we tried to see if we could convince Bri to stay in her crib just a bit longer. It was obviously time for her to move past the baby stage of being in a crib to having a big girl bed, so, sad as I was that my baby is turning into a big girl, we decided to go for it. The last 2 weeks have been crazy trying to get all that sorted out, but we finally got all the new furniture and new bedding and got it all done.
Kyrie's been begging to share a room with her baby sister for a long time, so we decided to just go for it and switched rooms around, while we were at it. Asher's absolutely loved having his very own room with just his stuff, and he really loves his new furniture (good thing, too, because it took Derk and I 3 days to put together! :) ). Kyrie's beyond thrilled to be sharing with Bri now, which is so sweet - she really enjoyed having her own room, so that just proves how much she loves her baby sister.
Of course I'm excited about this new arrangement because it gives me oodles more fun decorating ideas! The girls and I already have extensive plans for their room. Kyrie's always brainstorming new ideas with me, and it's really fun to plan it all out. When I ask Asher what he wants me to do to his new room, he just says he wants cars. Of course he wants cars. Duh, Mom - did you really need to ask that?! :)

You were a lucky one Hill..Bri stayed in her crib a lot longer than most kiddos do so your baby procrastinated her big girlness lol I love the new beds..I remember when we bought Logan's toddler bed and brought it home he loved it!
Aww. So cute! And I am SO glad that Ashton is still in his crib... whew!
yay for big kids!! Evelyn was in a crib till we moved here, which she loved. But hey, if a 3 year old will sleep in it, why not? It saved us from having to buy a bed when we didn't have the funds! Your kids look so cute in their big beds.:)
