The kids and I had fun playing with Play Doh and finger paints the other afternoon. Cambria was taking an exceptionally long nap, so Asher and I decided to bust out the finger paints until she woke up. So I threw a spare sheet down on the kitchen floor, put Asher in one of Derk's old t-shirts and let him go at it. He loved it. I think we need an easel, though. That would definitely make things easier.
Isis was very curious about the whole painting thing and never left Asher's side the whole time. She even stepped in the paint at one point -- she didn't like that very much! :)
Bri woke up just as we were cleaning up the finger paints, so she didn't get a turn this time. But she was right on time for playing with Play Doh and really enjoyed doing that. The past few times I've tried, she's just eaten it, but she did great this time.

Fun fun fun. We love art and craft time! My friend started a blog that I think you would like. check it out: http://craftykidlets.blogspot.com/. I think it gives great ideas- plus it's a great way to document all the craft projects without having to keep them all : )!
I love craft time lol finger paints are like Logan's favorite..I haven't tried Play Doh though because I'm always afraid he will eat it..I wonder if mom has the recipe still for homemade play doh..anyway very cute...love the snake!
