We signed the kids up for soccer, and this morning was Kyrie's first practice. Her coach called on Tuesday to let me know we were having our first practice today, but I decided not to tell Kyrie until later in the week to avoid hearing, "How many more days (hours, minutes, seconds, milliseconds) until my soccer practice now, Mom?" :)
We went out yesterday afternoon to buy her cleats, shin guards and socks. I learned that never again will I take 3 kids into Big 5. But we all made it out alive, and Kyrie is the proud owner of black cleats and shin guards and some very cute pink soccer socks.
It is so funny to watch all these 6-7 year olds run around and crash into each other. They all had so much fun and did a really great job. Kyrie is so excited for her next practice and was bummed that she has to wait a. whole. week. :) I can't wait to see her play her first game in a few weeks!

My goodness, she is growing up so fast... That's really neat that you got her interested in soccer. Cute little raptor indeed!
Oh my goodness- soccer... in December!... that just seems crazy. I guess it's probably too hot in the summer : ). That is so great for Kyrie, I'm sure she is going to LOVE it : ).
