Apparently Derk's genes combined with mine create monkeys instead of children. Yes, I know all kids tend to love to climb. And I know all kids get into some mischief now and again. But my children, MY children, take climbing and mischief to a whole new level that I'm pretty sure is beyond "normal" range for even the rascaliest of rascals. It's true! And I can prove it!
Well, today it was Cambria's turn!
I was upstairs working on something for Mary Kay and heard Cambria screaming. It was one of those "Come quick!!" screams, so I ran downstairs pronto to see what was going on. I laughed myself silly and grabbed the camera. Bri was not happy with me for making her stay like that, but is that a great photo, or what?!

She pushed her high chair over, climbed up on the tray and got ahold of the popsicle she apparently really wanted. Then she realized she hadn't thought about how to get down once she'd gotten said popsicle. :)
I don't understand why her head is stuck underneath the shelf -- the popsicles are on the top shelf, not the bottom! I'm not sure what she was trying to get way back there, but her head was stuck in between the shelves, and she's supporting herself on her knees on the top ledge of the fridge door. It really was too hysterical. She clung to me for dear life once I got her down. Maybe she learned her lesson? I doubt it. I'll probably have to rescue her again tomorrow. :)
