Happy Halloween!

We had 2 full days of festivities this year. It was a lot of fun, and I have to admit that I'm glad Halloween is over for this year. Getting everyone dressed up 2 days in a row is tiring, and between the 2 days, the kids have enough candy to last them well over a year (not that they wouldn't have it downed in 3 days, if I'd let them....).

Yesterday started off with Kyrie having "Crazy Hair Day" at school. I woke her up a little early, and we had some fun creating as crazy of a hair-do as I could muster that early in the morning. She thought it was great.

Kyrie with her 2 buddies, Kennedy (left) and Giovanna (right). These girls live right next door to us, and these 3 are always together. They walk to the bus stop together every morning, and they had such a blast laughing at each other's crazy hair. :)

Then we had our stake Trunk or Treat. It was pretty fun. I've never been to one for the whole stake, it's always just been for our ward, so I wasn't exactly prepared for how crazy it would be. There were so many people there, plus it was really dark (it gets super dark in the desert super fast), so it was really hard to keep track of the kids. Asher left our sight for about 2 minutes at one point, and when I found him again, he'd managed to lose his shoes, his mask and his Trick or Treating bucket. It was too dark to find them anywhere, so we're hoping someone put them in the lost and found.

Asher seriously loves his costume. He's worn it every day since we bought it -- even sleeping in it! That poor costume was literally falling apart at the seams, and I had to play Doctor to fix it up enough so that he could wear it.

Bri was so excited when she realized people would give her candy.....and that she'd get MORE candy at the next house! She kept stopping after each house, sitting down on the sidewalk and trying to eat her candy. At least we were easily able to bribe her with more candy to keep her going. :)
