Fun in a Go-Kart!

One of our neighbors bought their daughters a Go-Kart/Dune Buggy type thing:

When Kyrie came home from school yesterday, her friends Kennedy and Giovanna told her they were going to take Kennedy's Go-Kart out for a ride, and they invited Kyrie to go. I thought it sounded like a really fun idea, so I took all 3 kids out. They're preparing to build another set of condos in our complex, so there's a huge dirt area that has some ditches and mounds of dirt -- perfect for riding in the Go-Kart! Kyrie had a blast being driven around by her friends, and then she got to learn how to drive it herself, which she thought was the coolest thing!

I was really hesitant to let Asher go for a ride, but I decided I needed to relax and let him have some fun. I buckled him in probably way too tight :) and drove him crazy with a huge list of instructions. He had such a blast! Unfortunately, I didn't have the camera with me until after his turn was over, but I did get pictures of him on our neighbor's ATV. While his girls were riding the Go-Kart, he brought out his ATV and rode it around on the dirt. When he was done, he let the kids sit on it, and Asher thought that was super cool. He kept begging me to let him turn it on and go for a ride. Ha! :)

Poor Cambria didn't get to go, but she did get to sit on our neighbor's ATV. I thought she'd get upset because it wasn't turned on, but she had a great time and thought she was such a big girl. :)

Now the kids are begging us to buy them one. We'll have to see about that. . . :)
