Happy birthday, Cambria!

Sorry this took so long to post, Rebecca! :)

I can't believe my baby is 2 years old! This post will probably be long. You have been warned

Cambria Claire Stephens was born on November 20th, 2006 via c-section. She was 6 pounds 8 ounces and was 18.5 inches long. She came out screaming -- and didn't stop screaming for at least her first hour of life. I remember my doctor and all the nurses laughing at just how mad this little one was.

A few things about this little 2 year old: She weighs 23 pounds. She loves her Mama -- separation anxiety isn't a strong enough term. She loves baby dolls, bananas, her kitty, her "baby", pancakes and her siblings. She and Asher are so close and are so sweet. She still calls Asher "Atcher", and Kyrie has recently become "Whoa-way" (it actually sounds a lot like "road rage" :) ). She also just learned my name and calls me "Hiwwy" on occasion. :) She loves to play in the garbage and toilet, wear my high heels, brush her teeth, climb on the counter and help me do anything I'm doing.

She's the perfect combination of the other 2 kids, and she loves to get into trouble, just as much as they do. And she's pretty darn good at it, too! :)

On to the birthday festivities. She had a really great day. We had several friends over, with a total of 9 kids. It was pure insanity and left me extremely exhausted, but we had a really fun time. She had a garden theme, with flowers, lady bugs and butterflies.

I saw a picture of a pinata in a magazine, which is what inspired me for her cake. I think it turned out so cute!

We played several games. The first game was Derk's idea, and the kids just loved it. We had them do a silly face contest -- it was too funny!

We decided Giovanna was the winner!

Next we played "Pin the Spots on the Lady Bug". Cambria refused to keep the blindfold on, but she was still way off placing her spot. :)

Our last game was Bingo.

Then it was time to open presents! She had such a fun time opening her gifts. She didn't understand it at first, but she figured it out really quickly and started tearing into them. We have such awesome friends, and she got such fun presents! She got lots of toys, some cute kitty stuffed animals, fun new tap shoes, big girl underwear and new pajamas, a sleeping bag and a big girl bike!

The Happy Birthday Song. Grandma and Grandpa got to join us on the video phone to see her blow out her candles, which was really special. Asher blew out the candle before the song was over, so I had to run off and re-light it, little stinker.

She loves her new sleeping bag -- now she has one, just like Kyrie and Asher!
