Boys!

I find it so interesting that boys are so inherently different than girls. We've really done nothing different with Asher - he's just all boy, completely by nature. He loves guns and destruction, despite my best efforts to make sure he's not exposed to anything he shouldn't be. He doesn't even own a gun, so I have no idea how he even knows what a gun is. But everything can be made into a gun - parts to my vacuum cleaner, toilet paper rolls, legos, pencils, you name it.

Anyway, being the boy that he is, he decided to barrel down the stairs yesterday. He'd heard Derk opening the garage door and wanted to beat Kyrie to the door to give Daddy a hug. I told him to slow down, but he didn't want to listen. He tripped and landed right on his nose, getting his first bloody nose and a nice battle wound to show for it.
After Derk got him calmed down a bit, he thought it was kinda cool that his nose was bleeding. See, all boy! :)
