Randomness

I've got a hodge podge of stuff that I want to blog about, so this post will be pretty random. I like randomness. I think it adds spice to our lives. Or maybe that's just me making up excuses for not having a cohesive theme to this post. Either way.

First, this is what happens when Cambria doesn't get a nap. Poor little cutie was too tired to even finish her dinner.
Second, Derk got a signing bonus from work, which allowed us to get a few things we've been wanting to get - a coffee table and a rug. Well, that's not entirely true. Derk didn't want to get either of those things. But I bribed him and got him to change his mind. :) I think I definitely got the better end of the deal, but then again, I'm not into game systems, so who knows.
I love the rug. It's all my favorite colors - maroon, camel, olive green, navy blue. Love the pattern, too. And the coffee table was a huge steal! I guess it's more of an ottoman than a coffee table, but it's coffee table sized, and that's it's main purpose. It's all leather, and both the cushions on top come off to reveal two very large storage compartments that I adore! Plus, I think it pulls all the black accents in my living room together and makes it all more cohesive. Love it! Derk pretended he was highly annoyed at first, but after the room was all put together, he said it really does look great. Duh! :)

This first video is my handsome little guy serenading me with his ABC's. Don't mind Cambria screeching in the background. :) And don't you just love his laugh?!

This video of Cambria just cracks me up. I just love how, mid-way through the video, you can see her getting more and more bored with my video-taking - she starts rocking faster and faster, then comes the "Wee!", and then it's just hopeless from that point on. :)
