A great report!

We met with Kyrie's teacher on Tuesday. It was the school's back-to-school night, so we left Asher to play at the neighbors and took the girls. It was fun to walk around the school and see Kyrie's classroom again. She has the best teacher I could have ever hoped for. She's so nice and caring and is just a great teacher. She's about 3.5 months pregnant and said she was actually a little disappointed when she found out about the pregnancy because that would mean having to take maternity leave. She said she hated the thought of leaving "her kids". I laughed because I know her tune will change the second she sees that baby, but it's still great that she cares that much about "her kids".

Anyway, we asked her how Kyrie was doing, and she couldn't say enough good things about her! She said she's one of the top 3 students in the class, she's in the highest group for reading, and her scores on the academic testing were extremely high. I only remember 2 of the scores she gave us, but on one test, Kyrie got 80 points out of a possible 37 and got 111 out of 27 on another! Needless to say, we are extremely proud of this little one!!

In other news, the AC adapter to my laptop has died, so I am on Derk's computer until I can get a new cord. That means I have no pictures to share, but I will hopefully have a laptop that is back in commission very shortly!
